The Energy Group works to accelerate the adoption of equitable, clean and efficient energy solutions in our neighbourhood. We recognise the work done around renewable energy in the Castlemaine community by many individuals and collectives including the Net Zero crew and hopes to build on and apply it for the benefit of everyone in the community.

In May 2021 members of West End Resilience decided one off their key project would be focussed on the use of renewables for community engergy needs.

Activities of the group include a community survey, home energy saving workshops, expert speakers and researching renewable energy activities of other communities.
